Competition Rules

These rules apply to every competition on moji ("Win") and to talent challenges, together with each competition's own rules shown on its page. If they conflict, the competition's own rules apply.

Who can enter

• Free draws: anyone with a moji account, unless the competition says otherwise.
• Paid skill competitions: 18 or older only, living in an eligible country. moji staff and their households can't enter.

Free draws

No purchase is necessary. Each draw has an entry limit (for example once, or once a day). Winners are chosen at random using a published, verifiable method: a sealed seed committed before the draw is combined with a public randomness beacon (drand), so no one, including moji, can predict or change the result. You can check every draw on its Verify page.

Paid skill competitions (e.g. Pick the Spot)

• These are games of skill: you judge where the hidden object's centre is. One ticket is one pick.
• The correct spot is sealed (published as a cryptographic commitment) before the competition opens and revealed when it closes, so it can't be changed after entries are in.
• The closest pick wins, measured exactly. Ties are settled as the competition states: the prize is shared, or the tied players play a tie-break round.
• Entry fees are paid with Reload Voucher and/or moji credit. Caps per person and in total may apply.

Prizes

Prizes are as described and can't be swapped for cash unless the competition says so. Credit prizes are added to your moji credit. Physical prizes need a delivery address within 30 days of winning, or the prize may be forfeited. You are responsible for any tax on prizes.

Winners

We tell winners in the app and by email. By entering, you agree that your display name, profile photo and city may be shown as a winner.

Cancellation

If a competition can't run fairly (for example a technical fault), we may cancel it and refund every entry in full to moji credit.

Play responsibly

Only spend what you can afford. If you feel you're spending too much, contact hello@moji.africa and we can limit your account.
